Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick are to go head to head with United legends Nicky Butt, Denis Irwin and Andrew Cole in The Big Utd Quiz for MUTV.
 
The teams will be pitted against each other across nine sporting rounds of general knowledge in a bid to be crowned winners. The victors from this round of the contest will go on to face a formidable team captained by Sir Alex Ferguson.
 
Filmed on location at United's Carrington training ground it's certain to be a fiercely contested first round. With both sides competitive and determined to win, expect sparks to fly as six of English football's biggest names put down their boots and pick up their buzzers!
 
Ryan Giggs said "I cannot wait to face Nicky's team in the quiz, we are both fiercely competitive so I don't envy the quizmaster! I am quietly confident especially as I have Nev and Carras on my team and losing definitely isn't an option as Butty will never let me live it down"
 
The Big Utd Quiz will be shown on MUTV on 12 December with the final against Sir Alex on 16 December.
