Stuart Pearce has refused to rule out the possibility that three of Sir Alex Ferguson’s most famous fledglings could be reunited to kick-off Great Britain’s bid for Olympic gold at Old Trafford this summer.

This year’s Olympics will begin with the opening game of the football tournament in Manchester on July 26, a day before the opening ceremony in London.
