Giggs hails Messi
Ryan Giggs believes Lionel Messi is arguably the best player that's ever featured in the Champions League.
In an interview with the club's offical betting and gaming partner bwin, Giggs says: "He is breaking all sorts of records at the moment. He is one of the greatest players to ever live and he has won it a couple of times too.
"Obviously he is a player who scores so many goals but he is a team player as well, he sets up so many goals for his team-mates. I've experienced playing against him and it's very difficult to get the ball off him. He can dribble and can score any type of goal - left foot, right foot, headers...he has so many assets."
